LIVE E-Learning Day. AMS and AHS Schedule - Elementary Schedule

Two-hour delay, Thursday, Feb 13, 2025.

Good afternoon,
All after school activities have been cancelled this afternoon due to inclement weather conditions. This includes Carlin Park chess club, Carlin Park BASE camp, and Ryan Park after school child care. Thank you and please be safe.

ALL after-school activities have been cancelled today 2/12/2025 due to potential inclement weather this afternoon. Thank you! Be safe if you are out this evening!

Just a reminder that afterschool tutoring groups started today for some of our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders from 3:00-4:30. You would have had to sign them up for them to attend. Each child riding home on a bus has a bus tag and knows which bus he/she rides.
Please be patient today as our wonderful bus drivers navigate their stops this afternoon.
If you are picking up your child, please pull up like normal in lot A or B.
If changes need to be made, we ask that you contact the school during the school day, as someone may not be available to take a message afterwards.
Thanks so much for your partnership!

The MSD of Steuben County 2024-2025 school calendar was approved two years ago to help families plan for school events, including graduation. However, the Indiana High School Athletic Association moved all of its calendar events back one week for the 2024-2025 school year. Unfortunately, this has caused a conflict between the spring sporting events that our senior students will participate in and our graduation ceremony. We want to make sure that all of our senior students have the opportunity to participate in their extracurricular activities and their graduation ceremony. For this reason, we are rescheduling the class for the 2025 graduation ceremony from Thursday, May 29th 7:00 p.m. to Friday, May 30th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hornet Football Stadium.

Carlin Park Community-
Do you know how lucky we are in our district? Our students are engaged every day in learning new and exciting things that develop connections with curriculum. They are experiencing science through deep thinking, and all of our students are receiving amazing art lessons that are orchestrated by our district Art teacher, Erin Coatney. We have Junior Achievement lessons presented by community volunteers, and our very own EL team, Mrs. Carmona and Mrs. Gilbert give their time during PE to build relationships with our students. We are providing a well rounded education for ALL students in MSDSC! What a great place to learn and grow!
