Students learn about the Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve

Happy Friday Cardinals:

It was another AWESOME week at Carlin Park Elementary! We celebrated Red Ribbon Week and discussed healthy choices we can make to keep us safe and happy! Students worked hard in their classrooms and some grade-levels traveled around the community on field trips!

Red Ribbon Week: This week students focused on the importance of making positive and healthy choices. They participated in dress-up days and raised money for the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.

1st Grade Field Trip: Our first grade classes visited Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve in Fremont, Indiana. They were able to observe buffalos in their habitat and learn some interesting facts and information. It was a beautiful sunny and warm day!

5th Grade Field Trip: Our fifth grade classes visited Sauder Village in Archbold, Ohio. They were able to compare and contrast life today to life in the past! We are proud of the way our Cardinals make positive behavior choices in and out of the classroom.

Have a great weekend!
